Old or not, her instincts found him comforting and appealing as she followed him up the tower. When they finally reached the room at the top, she had to pause to take it all in. Rip could smell the paints and the sight of the various paintings definitely caught her attention at first.
Did he paint these...? He did! Then he had quite a bit of talent and she could see that playing out through the incomplete piece. His words drew her to the window and the view stole her breath away. Rip had never seen the ocean before now and honestly didn't know what lay beyond the mountains and the forests they roamed. To see it now.. She could see why this might be one of his favorite views.
Especially with the way the sun was rising over the horizon. For a moment, her heat was forgotten as she just took in the view. "It's beautiful...I didn't realize it vas beyond zhe forest like zhis." And hopefully, she'd get to see it at sunset as well just so she could see the stars from up here.

"I'd love a drink vith you." Part of her wondered if they would be making use of the bed this morning as she moved back to his side, his scent capturing her once more as she ghosted her fingertips up his arm.
